Where is your wedding dress now? Assuming that is, i) that you have been married and ii) are female? (I am thinking my male readership is one; my husband). Maybe your wedding dress is still safe and sound in your mind's eye? Mine is hanging in a wardrobe upstairs...unceremoniously there amongst many other dresses. How can something so special have no real place in life now?
Some of my friends said they would sell their wedding dresses...in a way to justify the astronomic cost of one item of clothing. But when it came to it, just not possible. My dress; it was the first I tried and the one I went back to after trying many others. It was a two-piece, a full, full skirt and a beaded bodice. I will always remember that 'swish, swish' of the duchess satin as I walked. The weight of it. Its the only time in my life I have ever worn such a gown...
So, as there has been a touch too much reality for me this week, here are some wonderful, dreamy, fantasy gowns to gaze at...they make me recall my wedding day when I was a fantasy gown wearer for one just day.

What a fantastic image, a shot of yellow - this is Blake Lively for Vanity Fair...

Ruffle heaven and swan-like posture...

Vintage pink tulle...

Lara Stone also in Vogue...the contrasts on this dress are lovely.

This I adore; an oriental twist on the gown...

SJP...on an Annie Leibovitz photo shoot...

A puff of dreamy pink...
